Hello from Kenya, East Africa,

Both Missionary Peter Morris and I (Missionary Brandon Heselschwerdt) are excited to share with you what God is doing through Pastors’ Practical Training Academy (PPTA). PPTA is a 20-month program from start to finish. It requires young men called to be pastors or new pastors to come in for classes and training one week each month. It allows them the opportunity to receive training that they normally would not ever have the chance to receive in rural Kenya. PPTA is designed to train young men for the ministry of planting new churches and pastoring their congregations.

We just had our first class graduate in August of 2024 and have been overjoyed to see what God is already doing through that group of young men. They have gone out and started new churches and are now better trained to lead their churches spiritually!

We aim to begin our next PPTA class in February of 2025. All the planning has come together, but we need your financial support in order to make the next PPTA and future PPTAs possible. We are prayerfully asking you to consider giving toward adopting a pastor. By giving, you are making it possible for a young man to receive the training that he would never be able to receive otherwise. We also will be sure to keep record of your contact information, so that as time goes by, we can keep you updated on what God is doing through these men as He trains them for His work.
