DANIEL SOLT FAMILY

ON DEPUTATION TO ENGLAND

Andrew 2/15

My parents Dave and Marybeth Solt landed in England in the fall of 1996, and a few months later I was born. At the age of four, I recognized my sin nature, and asked God for salvation…a few years later I followed Christ’s example through baptism. While growing up, I was privileged to join in multiple ministries with my parents from church planting to teen activities and children’s programs.

After graduating high school, I enrolled in Hyles-Anderson College with the goal of developing a media career. It was during the missions conference my freshman year, God spoke to me, and revealed His perfect plan for my life. Matthew 14:17-19 says, “…We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me…” Christ’s response to Andrew turned my plans upside down. Following His lead, I surrendered my life to him, changed my college major to missions, and began the path to serve Him full time in the mission field.

Rachel was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana. At the age of seventeen, after hearing her youth pastor teach a lesson on Hell in Sunday School, Rachel got her salvation settled. She surrendered her life to the Lord in 2014 at a summer teen camp while hearing a sermon on the will of God. It was also the same year that she felt God leading her to attend Hyles-Anderson College.

God brought us together during our first semester of college, and a few months after graduation we got married. Together with Rachel, I have served in the bus ministry of FBC as a captain, CDL trainer, and junior church superintendent leading up to deputation. In the fall of 2021, we visited England together for the first time as a family, and God solidified His calling on our lives to return as full-time missionaries.

Upon returning to England, we will be serving at my father’s church in Preston, England, a city with a surrounding population of over 200,000 people. Lord willing, we plan on building a children’s program and teen department, along with participating in outreach, discipleship, media efforts, and establishing a Bible institute. We are excited about and looking forward to the new opportunities God has in store for us once we have adjusted to being on the mission field as a family.

  • Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: Reflecting with Gratitude on the Victories of 2025Happy New Year to you! As we conclude 2025, our hearts are filled with anticipation for the ways God will move in 2026. However, we pause to reflect with gratitude on the many victories of last year. In February, we rejoiced over the birth of our son Andrew, who is now a bouncing toddler. April brought us to the field after God cleared the way with the necessary paperwork for us to move over. On arriving to England, God enabled our family to smoothly settle into our home and new ministry. Since we began deputation in the fall of 2022, prices in England have risen rapidly, yet despite your own Stateside challenges with inflation, your faithful generosity has ensured that every need has been met. God is good! We truly can’t say thank you enough.

    Soul Report

We concluded 2025 with our family having personally witnessed to 54 souls, 23 of whom accepted Christ. Two of those converts have since moved forward in baptism. John and Debby trusted Christ during our “Coffee Morning” outreach in August. In November, John took the next step of obedience through baptism. The two of them meet with me weekly for discipleship, and it has been incredible to see how much they have grown in just a few months. God’s Word truly changes lives!

In November, we held two additional Bible‑handout outreach Saturdays in the town center, and it has been encouraging to see more of our church family getting involved. These will now become regular events on our church calendar as we move into 2026, along with dedicated times to place Gospel flyers in every home in Preston. These outreaches are in addition to our weekly soul-winning efforts.

    Church Growth

We experienced record‑high attendance at our Christmas services, as visitors joined in with our expanding church family. Praise the Lord! In 2025, we had 9 Sunday morning services where attendance surpassed 100. Pastor David Solt’s desire for the coming year is to see more members step into serving opportunities and to expand Bible training for those who are eager to grow. Our theme for 2026 is “Striving Together.” Our teen class has seen an increase in attendance as well.

    Family Update

The end-of-the-year celebrations of Thanksgiving and Christmas in our new home were extra sweet memories after our traveling lives on deputation. Grandpa and Nana (my parents) loved having the grandkids for the first time as well. Thank you for praying for my UK driving-test slot. I was able to move my test to an earlier date in February instead of waiting until May! Thank you for every prayer prayed, every card written, every dollar given, and so much more. It is truly a joy to serve Jesus with you!

    Solt Sibling Adventures

In December, Ruby turned four and enjoyed celebrat-ing her birthday with Nana, Grandpa, and two of her friends. She also sang in her very first Christmas program and was thrilled to dress up as an angel.

Andrew is now ten months old and full of energy! He can walk with a little help and is very close to walking on his own. One of his favorite things to do is to clap, especially when he hears singing.

    Prayer Requests

    1. Soul-winning opportunities
    2. Continued growth in our teen class
    3. New converts to move forward with discipleship
    4. Our annual “Children’s Roundup” on February 20—one-day VBS
    5. Driving test on February 24

    For His glory,

Daniel, Rachel, Ruby, and Andrew Solt
